I know alot of you wont agree, for years i have been doing this and have always been complemented on my bbq sauce

1-2 contaners of any bbq sauce and one jar of apple jelly or peach marmolaid(sp), bring to a boil, let cool, when your chicken or ribs are done dip in the cool sauce and serve, the jelly has so much flavor and sugar, the sauce stays on the meat and leave a nice glaze.
 
That may just work out great. Seems that at the comp cooks around here the sweeter the better. May just try this at home to see how it tastes.
 
I've use the apple a few times. And yes, it does make an excellent glaze.....

If you like spicey, add some finely chopped jalepeno......
