I went out an bought some new oak wood that was really seasoned and some fat lighter. How much fatlighter should i use to start my fire

I wouldn't use any. Fat lighter wood is actually pine and is not recommended. Either use a propane torch or some charcoal, or start with twigs and work up. Personally I use a propane weed burner
