I'll be absent until Saturday night, as I'll be up in Hershey, PA for the Antique Car Show... Butt, I am taking my laptop in hopes of finding a WiFi signal, so I might be able to get in here once in awhile... we'll see. If not, have a great week and try not to miss me too much!

Hawg,

Dont worry brother, Shell & I should be able to keep the smoke rolling here in the 'mid-atlantic' area for you. Have fun smokin tires!

Well, I have been attending this show since 1972, and just about every year, it either rains, snows, or wind storms blow you to the next county. This year was no different... Wednesday was a beautiful shorts and T-shirt day, Thursday was an absolutely ugly day with pouring rain all day and into the night. I woke up Friday to blasting winds and cold that of course lasted all day. I gave up and came home last night... sleeping on the ground in a tent was no fun in that crap!

For the past several years (more than I'd like to admit), I have been a parts vendor in the swap meet; mostly doing it for fun and very little profit.

Hershey is the grand finale car show of the year, with thousands of show cars coming from all over the world to compete. The swap meet is enormous, covering acres and acres of land. Pretty awesome, 'cept when the weather sux!

Funny thing is however, even though the weather was awful, this was my best year ever in profits. I guess it was because I had a canopy this year over my space, so folks could get in out of the rain. I told them the shelter was free, but they had to pay to get out...

I was too busy with the booth to get out and take any car shots... sorry!

To bad the weather was bad, but you did good anyway! Turned cold here this week too. What's with this weather? 95 last weekend and 55 this weekend?

Squeezy take your Noreaster back will ya?

Yeah Deb, I was hoping the weather would hold out like it was on Wednesday, but alas... it was a typical Hershey!
