Have seen a few posts but they don't seem to be active.  Glad I found this one.

Have been smoking for a couple yrs-now have a Brinkman Trailmaster off set cooker.  Works pretty well but I have to use split hickory wood as fuel to get it past 220 degrees-even in the summer.  Am pretty happy w/it otherwise.  Put bricks in the bottom, brought the exhaust down to the grate, even bought a mesh box for the fire box to hold alot of fuel.

Any answers or suggestions on how to get the temp up would be appreciated.

THANKS GUYS!
