I have a Yoder 640 and I did my first smoke on two 5 lb PB's.  Everything was great except the smoke taste was a bit light.  I know that some of you are using Tod's gismo to achieve more smoke flavor.  I have an amaznps 5X6 but I did not use it during my first smoke.  For those of you who do use this method, I am wondering which type you find best with smokers like the 640 and where do you usually place it in the smoker and for how long for do you leave it going on a 10 or 12 hour smoke?  My wife is wanting a stronger smoke taste and I understand that the amount of time using it will depend on how much smoke taste you are trying to achieve.  I would appreciate comments about your method and use of smoke generators.  My experience is limited to using my AMAZNPS in a mes 30.  Thanks............

I have not used the amazing tube...but I have been starting out the first hour or so of the cook with the pit set at 180 or so the lower the temp is set the more smoke the 640 will make..I cooked my first brisket this weekend and I was impressed with the smoke ring.   I did not expect such a good ring from the pellet grill.  You might try this method also..
