Not at all funny, but dam cute to me.  Rescued these two 4 day old pups from the DUMPSTER, yes I said dumpster.  They were in seperate walmart white plastic bags and inside a tied black garbage bag.  It was late Oct, in the low teens, and as luck would have it, I heard one of them whimpering.  Took them out, search many bags for more and these were the only two.  Sad story made happy in a nut shell, is that the puppy rescue found a bitch dog that had lost all her pups and was grieving hard and hurting from the abundunce of milk--Happy happy happy.. 

The proud and wonderful new mommie and 'hook-up'  LOL

I might be a grouchy, old grumpy hard ass, and nearly 62 years old,  but THIS still brings a warm feeling to my heart and a tear to my eye..

OK this one is tough because Baxter was the best dog ever and left us two years ago after a sudden illness.

But he was awesome as a puppy and even more awesome as a dog the basset still resides with us but is nowhere near as active anymore.
