I am thinking of making some babybacks with some rootbeer. Anyone use sodas such as cherry dr. pepper, coke, rootbeer in the foiling process of ribs or any other meat?
Well, I haven't personally done it but there are some twists going on out there. I know many down in the South do a lot with colas and hams....why not a butt or some ribs. i never foil but i do spritz with Dr.Pepper cherry and a few other ingredients.. everyone asks what else i put in the bottle...haha. i even bring the bottle to work and spray down pulled pork sammys with it while the hungry masses sit and wonder. lol. i even use dr.pepper cherry in my can chickens.
