First time out!!

I inherited a VERY used, New Braunfels smoker (horizontal, offset) this week and we are trying it out for the first time.  Never owned or used a smoker before, so I'm interested to see what happens!!  We put on a rack of baby back ribs and a whole chicken rubbed with mojave garlic pepper.... Can't wait to see how they turn out! :)

Forgot to take pictures yesterday, but the ribs and chicken turned out great for a first attempt!  Definitely a success, though I will change some seasonings a little next time.... Today I'm trying chicken breasts, with different seasonings and spice blends, just to see what happens to the flavors, and what I like best! :)  Got some photos already, about to figure out how to upload them...
