i will probably come back to it. they do taste good. ive got some sausage making and trying home bacon cure over the 4th holiday since I have 4 days off. im kind of going ballistic on this new hobby as i am enjoying walking out to the freezer and think "hmm what to have tomorrow, hot dogs, hungarian, jalapeno & chedder, maple, sage, etc etc" and grab a vac pack and toss in the fridge

I will say this. getting a 22 grinder has changed my world. 70 bucks made maple breakfast sausage that would have cost 150 bucks easy in jimmie dean. i am not buying ground beef, pork or chicken from a store ever again.

then through my Omega Juicer. I think it does work pic will show stuff in the Omega hopper shows fat specs but in the tray no fat specs.
Do you have a better picture of the juicer process and the batter that it produced? How about a cut pic of a dog? What are your thoughts on that juicer? Did it struggle with the meat? I have an Omega and was curious about how well it worked to emulsify meat. The Champion juicer that many use turns at much higher RPMs and has small teeth on the auger so curious about what you think. I realize that you may not have anything to compare to, but still interested...

i am sorry but i am new to the world of sausage and hot dogs. it was very slow, and half way through the process the batter color changed on the batter coming out of the juicer. not sure how to explain it. like it was a lighter color maybe more "airy"? the temps were below 40 so im not sure what happened i tried it cuz i got the juicer to do carrots and what not as i am a carnivore and dont waste much time cooking veggies for meals. i just drink my veggies most of the time.

i forgot about this pic so i didnt have it in the initial thread SmokinEdge SmokinEdge does this give any hints?

i am sorry I am too new and just dont know enough i think to provide a helpful answer

The color change is from emulsifying. Out of my Champion juicer the color is very light and almost looks like soft serve ice cream
