First Smoked Turkey, bacon wrapped too!

Hey peeps, Happy turkey Day. THought I would post my first Qview, first smoked turkey. I did a full bacon weave with "Black Forest Bacon".. THought I would post my pics while the bird is resting and the family isnt here yet. will post final pics, and let you know the outcome.

The overall taste was great. The bird was moist and smokie flavored, the skin was crisp, and the Bacon was perfect. My only issue is it cooked faster than I was planning and once i wrapped it to rest the crisp Bacon I guess steamed itself a little less crisp. * note that for next time. * thanks for looking

No I left the skin on. It was more crisp than I would have imagined being cover with the bacon.
