While the title may imply that this is my first ever smoke, surely it is not. What it really is, is my first smoke on our new property. We have been here now, going on five months and I am overdue.
My Kamado Joe is still in storage, so I went way back in time and am using my gas grill with an A-Maze-N tube filled with hickory pellets for my little two person Boston Butt (which just hit 200° and is now resting in a cooler). I started late, so this will be football food after church tomorrow.
