I see a lot of post about people first smoke. But they all have a idea what they are going to smoke. I don't have much idea on what to start with. What's the best thing for a new smoker to Practice on? Is there a list from easy to hard on the site that I may have over looked? Over all goal is to smoke pulled pork and some deer meat. But the deer meat is going to be after a lot of practice.
