First pork shoulder (with Qview)

    I generally followed the rub:

    1⁄4 cup brown sugar
    1⁄2 cup white sugar
    1⁄2 cup paprika
    1⁄3 cup garlic powder
    2 tablespoons white salt
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    2 teaspoons black pepper
    1 teaspoon dried oregano
    1 teaspoon cumin

    And injection:

    3⁄4 cup apple juice
    1⁄2 cup water
    1⁄2 cup sugar
    3 tablespoons salt
    2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

    I smoked at 250 for 6 hours on my old country pecos

    after 6 hours I added some apple juice to the pan and cooked for another 4 hours until IT reached 205, then pulled it.

    Very sweet with all that sugar and tasted great
