Hey, everyone.

I have learned a lot since joining, but in short - practice is everything. No matter how much I read, I really need to learn my smoker. However, while I was frustrated at times, the pork came out tasting good and I had fun smokin' it! Thanks again for everyone's help here. I definitely will be reading and smoking more in the future!

I started around 9 a.m. and kept the butts on the grill for about six to eight hours, then finished them in the oven so I could watch the game and save some fuel. Since I was wrapping in foil, I didn't see the point in wasting the charcoal since I wasn't going to be adding anymore smoke. Although, I felt like I was cheating.

The pictures below are of the raw seasoned meat, the meat on the grill, what I hope is thin blue smoke, the butts after a couple hours and the meat before pull and after. I was going to try and smoke some burgers and jalapeños, but I didn't have enough room on the grill.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Looks like it turned out great. Thumbs Up
