Omak,Washington,U.S.A.
We got 6 of these things last week...... from some base somewhere.... North Dakota ??? maybe .... Temp's in the hundreds and the fire is at almost 400,000 acres now... last I heard....

They are refueling at Omak airport.... about a mile from my house.... They fly over my house to get to the fuel depot...... the small choppers refuel along the side of the road or in orchards....

Dave, I'm in Moses lake and we have the "10 tanker air carrier", 2 of them from new Mexico here at the moses lake airport refueling and loading retardant for the fires. This year has been the worst for fires. I here Pateros is pretty well leveled.

Bear..... AC is running most of the time..... outside temps in 100's....

PH..... drove through Pateros last Thursday..... everything burned that wasn't watered.. down to the road.... to the yards.... to the orchards and pretty much the first 3 rows of trees were toast..... ugly sight.... must have been scary to watch that stuff burn....

It's a shame. Hope your well!!!

Yeah, pretty bad from what I hear. I have relatives in Brewster, just up the road from Pateros.

Have you heard anything about Winthrop?
