Question....I have access to a wood stove, brand new and no use for it.  Would it be suitable to use this as a firebox and pipe into my barrel smoker?  The stove is around 1/3 the size of my cooking chamber and I do realize there is going to have to be some mods. but I wanted to know if anyone has used something like this in their builds?  Most of the fireboxes I see look homemade, just wondering from those of you that have tried it with a commercial wood stove and any ideas?  Thanks a lot, Jake
 
I have seen wood stoves used several times. some welded right into tanks used for the cooking chamber. It should work fine.
