I have been tinkering around with the BBQ calculator that I have heard about on this site. I plugged the dimensions of my store bought Char-Broil Double Door Offset Smoker, BBQ, and Grill in the calculator and found out that the size of the firebox is 150% of the recommended size. So my question I have is, Does having a firebox that's larger than "recommended" cause problems? I have really not had many issues at all with this smoker but I am always looking to improve on what I have :-) I will be measuring the intake and firebox-to-smoker chamber openings after work to see how they match up as well. But this was just the first thing I came across with a major difference. Thanks for any input!!
