Finshed the UDS shelf and some random pics

Well I was forced to finish the shelf on the UDS after getting the Maverick.  So here it is and some random pics of all of it working together.  Smoked some meat logs and some chicken wings the other day trying to get the feel for the UDS.  Starting to get it  under control pretty well now.

No it isn't LOL I will end up taking it off and plugging the holes.

Thanks Guys, I should have done the shelf from the start but like most of my projects I was in a hurry to use it the first time and didn't think it through just put handles on both sides.  But thats OK.  This being my first build I've really enjoyed the entire process (except for removing the barrel liner)  And learned alot about these great smokers.  I think I have it learned and broke in enough to try a brisket next weekend.  I will keep you all updated if that happens.

Nifty shelf! I Need to add a folding shelf to mine, since I throw it in the back of the jeep usually every weekend... good to hear your getting comfy with her...
