I've contacted Todd, at least a dozen times. (Todd, thanks for being so patient)

I've contacted several members here (All thanks for being so patient)

Last night, while enjoying some Gentlemen's Jack and watching True Grit (1969 version) again, something finally went off in my head.

The AMNPS needs air to survive or it'll go out while in the MES.  The Mes has a slot on the bottom left side where the AMNPS will fit.  All this time, I've been inserting my AMNPS into the the slot and pushing it all the way in.  By doing so, enough air is not getting to the pellets to keep the smoking burning.

This morning, I tested the AMNPS using charcoal pellets and this time I gently placed the AMNPS into the bottom left side but didn't push the device all the way into the slot.  The AMNPS is lined up next to the open chip pan; thus, allowing air to circulate from the chip loader, through the chip pan and getting to the AMNPS.

Duh, this is so simple.  It only took me a year to figure this out.  Well, better late than never to figure out things.

Great info and research,

I believe I have been pushing my AMAXEN pellet tray all the way back far left but I take the chip loaded out for better air intake, I haven't had any problem at all "knock on wood".

Al, i noticed that when I take the chip loader out completely, the pellets will burn way to fast.
It's currently noon and the pellets have been burning since 8:30 this morning. They're burning nice and slow and the amerous charcoal smell is amazing. I hope the smell of the charcoal is not on me,I'm leaving for church in 10 minutes,.lol

Glad you got it figured out. I know how frustrating it can be.It took me a year of trying different configurations to be able to use the pellets in my SmokinTex

Glad you got it going!!!

It's a little trial and error to figure it out, but once you do......You're Golden!
