This is the third tume I have developed rust on my drip tray. How do I prevent rust from forming. It poured down rain during my smoke. Hadn't had a chave to clean it til this morning. Any help

Buy or have someone make you an aluminum or stainless steel pan?
Another option is to keep it well oiled.
I have cast iron grates in my grills and I treat them like a cast iron frying pan and never have a problem.

I agree with BandCollector !!!! Same thing goes for the grill . If it's going to sit around a while spray some canola on it .
Add me to the oil group
Put several of these in it.
