Favorite Sauce Brush?

What is your favorite brush to apply sauce? I am asking because I haven't found one I am happy with yet.

I like small natural bristle brushes.  They're about 1 1/2" wide with a wooden handle. They hold sauce really well and dose it out evenly. They're really cheap if you look around. I've seen them at paint stores for like $1.00 each. I usually run them through the dishwasher before use.

I use a high quality varnish brush... holds together better.

I learned my lesson using the cheapo brushes pictured below.

I forgot to mention the cheapo brushes can shed bristles, so I  "dab" at the sticky side of a piece of masking tape to dislodge any loose ones. Though I've really not had any problems with stray bristles, I guess because they're so cheap I usually only use them once or twice.

Yep happened my last cook, spent 15 minutes pulling bristles from my sauce.

I don`t use sauce so I do not need a brush !

Haha!! I was waiting for "nonsauce nazis" to show up. I guess that does solve the issue of finding the right brush.

I like the quality paint brush idea. I so KC style here. We like our Q with lots of messy sauce.

I pour the sauce on and swirl around with the silicone bristle brushes.....  I got tired of pickin' pig hair out of the food.....  that, and I realized how unsanitary they were.......
