A couple of people asked me to post how I did the weave on my fatties. Sorry I didn't get to it sooner.
A simple bacon cheeseburger fattie - all beef. butchered a steer, got tons o hamburg.
Rolled and waitin da bacon
1 Piece lenghtwise - 1 across
I think this is pretty easy to see, so I won't ramble on.
Just try to keep slices close together. When the bacon shrinks during the smoke it will actually tighten up on the roll & keep it from falling apart.
Lift up the strips under the strip going lengthwise
Lay another going lengthwise
now the other side
Kinda roll the whole thing over so ya can get further down w/out it all fallin off
