Having a back procedure Thursday, so gonna be a chill day here.
Undecided what to whip up to enjoy during the US Open.
What are your plans?

Heading to my parents house a few blocks away.
On the menu is:
Homemade meat pasta sauce with rigatoni.
Smoked Italian sausage.
Fresh salad
Plenty of red wine.
That sounds good!
My wife and kids leave Thursday for their summer, I join them a few weeks later, so it’ll just be me for Father’s Day.

I’ll be enjoying the quiet, a good steak, and a good whisky.
So does this!

Good luck with the procedure hope it helps.
Nothing going on here either be picking blueberries or mowing grass

My first radiation treatment is Friday, second is Monday. I have to watch my diet to some degree within a day or 2 of treatments to avoid anything that may make me gassy. That pretty much eliminates anything I normally eat,
lol, so no plans, really.

Been to busy.... is father's day weekend this weekend? Too much going on around here lately... pouring cement today my back went out and dropped me to my knees. Wife is leaving tomorrow to visit and help with our granddaughter... our first! So no plans here.

No plans other than a text from our son and daughter. I'll be watching the college baseball world series for sure, though. My dad passed a few years ago so really nothing to do except watch a few games, maybe grill a couple of rib eyes if the wife wants and knock back a few beers. Maybe break out the moonshine and sip a bit.

My wife is leaving me Thursday.
I could leave it there for the drama, but She is catching a ride 70 miles down the road to spend a few days with our daughter (including wife's birthday on Friday). I get Thursday and Friday nights and all day Saturday to myself. That is a perfect Father's Day for me.
I drive down on Sunday to collect my wife and shop at Costco.
Exciting life ....

Having everybody over for burgers and hotdogs. Celebrating Fathers day and 2 birthdays about 30 people, should be an eventful day

Well damn … thought I’d have the worst or most boring day, but I have a lot of competition here. So much for living vicariously through you guys 😁

LOL afraid I can't add anything exciting to the thread either. Just a chill, quite weekend for me. Our grown sons have kids of their own who they're spending the day with (I expect I'll get happy father's day phone calls). The wife leaves tomorrow to go to her sister's - there's some big craft show they like to go to in OKC. She won't be home until late Sunday...so It'll just be me keeping company with myself all weekend. I'll likely treat myself to a nice grilled ribeye for an early dinner on Sunday.
