Two weeks ago whole Ribeye was on sale for 7.99 lb. The guy behind the counter found a 13 pounder in the cooler and asked how I wanted it cut. I told him to steak it out with one inch steaks except for the middle piece to be at least two inch thick so I could reverse sear that bad boy. I only took two pictures of the steak but it was amazing! Thanks for looking

Looks delicious!
Sure wish our prices would subside a bit around here.
Have the need for some decent beef again.

Looks great! Nice sear too! Thanks for sharing.

That's a fine looking slab of beef, nice char, Like! You can get great deal on whole standing rib roasts at Xmas time and just back the ribs bones off and cut ribeye steaks any thickness you like, I go with 1&1/2". You can also get small boneless roasts and some beef ribs, you'll get more bang for your buck. RAY

That looks awesome! You had me at the first pic. Better get used to doing those big chunks of meat...when your 2 new grandsons get older they are gonna put away some food!
