Hi guys,
I'm getting a smoker made for me for less than cost (can't complain about that!), But I will have to finish it myself. What should I look into for exterior finishes? Does the "high temp grill paint" in the spray cans at the box stores work? Or will it look cheap, and perform cheap, and flake off in a month?

I live in Houston so it's humid most of the year, so I need to get something on it as soon as I get it.

Thanks.
Ryan

I have used the grill spray paint and work good still holing up few yrs later. you have to clean the steel with like lacquer thinner and use a vibrating sander to scuff a little. cant remember brand but I don't normally get the discount types.
