Hi all. I have a 9 pound pork butt on an electric smoker. Only the second time I used it.. I thought I had set the temp to 250 but it was only 125. It has a manual dial that I needed to turn full circle twice. Anyway, it went 5 hours like this.. it was 125 internal when I checked. I have since foiled it and have it in the oven at 450. Do I need to throw it away since it was below 140 for 5 hours

Sorry I missed this when you first posted. You took the right action. No point in risking one's health. And I would check your smoker for any/all malfunctions regarding the control/thermostat.
