Hi Folks,
Living in the Netherlands and decided to do pulled pork. I asked my butcher for a boston butt and in the pics this is what I have. For beef the dutch definitely butcher the animal in a different way. Apparently same with pork.
So my questions:
In US terms what would you call this cut (am used to seeing the bone in the center of the butt)
Based on this cut, how would you recommend I explain to my butcher more precisely what I am looking for.
Any advice on the cook? I plan to just go with a traditional pulled pork cook but open to ideas.
Thanks in advance!
