Not sure this is the correct forum for this, but I've searched a bit and don't anyone else doing what I'm considering. Namely, I'm thinking of ducting (with aluminum dryer vent) from the chimney of my OK Joe's Longhorn into another smoker box to attempt to use one fire for 2 different temp cooks. I swear I've seeb a thread where someone did this but can't find it now. My thoughts are doing a couple of butts in the main box and doing some trout in the additional box at a lower temp. Anyone think this is crazy or have any suggestions?

I've thought about ducting the exhaust of my MES 30 to my cold smoker...  killing 2 birds as some say...    haven't done it yet....
