Obviously new here. Trying to learn the posting procedure. Second attempt so apologize if it repeats. Has anyone tried a 50/50 mix of smoked and regular paprika in Jeff's regular dry rub mix? What about all smoked paprika?

Either would work just fine. I intermix them in rubs often depending on what I’m going for.

Welcome to SMF.

Jeff’s rub is good, but all my paprika is smoked when the meat comes of my smoker. So are you using a gas grill?

The mix would be fine but I probably would hesitate going 100% smoked paprika especially if the meat was going to be smoked.

I usually blend mine but it can be an individual choice or preference. I'd start on the light side...can't remove it if you add too much smoked paprika to begin with

I use 100% smoked paprika and it works fine.
