Time and smoker temperature recommendations for chicken drumsticks?

Never tried them, but picked up some yesterday.

Thanks

I’d cook 300-350 deg to get the skin crispy. Don’t cook according to time. Instead it would be best to cook to internal temperature of the meat. I like my legs in the 175-185 deg range personally
Appreciate it. I guess I should have asked ballpark time frame in the recommended temp to get them to safe temperature.

I'll give it a try.

If I smoke them I'll usually let them go for an hour or so at 225 then finish them on my grill for crispy skin about 350

Thanks everyone.

This is what I'm doing-

Mixed 1 bottle of wishbone Italian dressing with 2 packs of McCormick hot taco seasoning and put in blender.

Poured over drumsticks in a large ziplock bag.

Used about half a cup of cider vinegar to rinse out the blender and poured in the bag.

Marinating overnight.

Will smoke with hickory chips. Will finish at high temp for crispy skin.

Hope it works.

I smoked drumsticks lollipops at 225 and I wasn't worry if they were crunchy... I brought them at my team's last year Christmas potluck and they were gone withing first 2 minutes....

Weather won't be cooperating for a smoke this afternoon.

Will have to oven bake them. No problem. I'm interested in how the marinade worked.

Dang mother nature! Was looking forward to the outcome, but still interested in flavor outcome

pretty much this! I ran mine ate 180 for a an hour or more then 350- Ran the IT to the recommended 175+ super tender

They turned out OK, but nothing to write home about.

I thought the overnight marinade would have given them more flavor, but overall the flavor was good, but very, very mild.
