Hi all,

I'm planning to build a UDS in the UK - moving on from my Weber / Slow 'n Sear rig for this year.

Can anyone advise what kind of shop / business would be able to do a decent job painting a drum and what paint it needs ? I don't have a garage or other safe space to spray paint sadly.

Also, do I get it painted before or after I drill it ? If I were doing it myself, I'd drill first then seal the holes with magnets or really strong tape (to avoid paint getting in the drum), then paint. Not sure what a shop / business would prefer though ?

Thanks in advance,

personally i used high temp silver paint that i had at work, it was the last thing i did after building it. works well and cost me nothing, if you lived near me i would get you some for nothing,
cheers
lee
