So I'm brand new to smoking, I've never smoked anything before.

Last Monday I bought an electric Bradley Original smoker. And today (right now) I'm smoking chicken for my very first smoke.

Well...I go to work today and come home to learn that 75MPH winds had knocked my smoker over and busted the Temperature Heat Control Switch

The switch has some metal contacts in it that complete some circuit and the heating element won't turn on without it

I was able to make it work with a little Scotch Tape and so I'm my ship's not completely sunk.

Well...guess I'm off to bradleysmoker.com to look for parts...

OK, the smoker's broke, but "What About The Chicken"???

Did you save the chicken?

Yes I agree nice save

for that but sorry for the smoker will it make a come back or will it fall to the smoking grave yard. We can start saving money for the stone marker?????

Mother nature can suck at times. Good save on the chicken. Your smoker will be just fne with a new part and you will be cranking out the thin blue smoke once again.

with 75mph winds that thing would look like nascar race. Just kidding better to have overkill that build it more than once. Looks great

Good thing you didn't "break" the chicken. I'd hate to see it all taped up in the Qview.

I don't know where to begin. First off, I am sorry to hear about your smoker. Second, I was in tears. Smokers true. "Did you save the chicken?" OMG.....I was in tears....But "Scotch Tape Chicken?" After I got up off the floor from laughing, I had to post.

On the chicken save.

Good luck on getting your smoker back to normal. 75 mph winds are no joke. Be safe out there buddy.
