Do any of you belong to a local smoking club?

I live in Gray, Maine and would like to invite any Maine or New England members of this forum to contact me.

I have had the idea of setting up some pot luck type meat and greet events where smokers could meet with their cookers and share their Q and swap recipes and techniques.

Anybody interested?

Would have never throught to look, but there is a website for the Greater Houston BBQ Society. Any of you Houston area folks know anyting about that?
