Well I followed Deejay Debi's recipe cards for how to smoke brisket.

I added one step and that was to slather it in mustard first then add the dry rub.

This was better than I have found in any restaraunt.

I have used several of Debi's recipes and have printed out her collection for future reference. I have yet to try anything of hers that wasn't outstanding. Thanks for sharing Debi.

Hmmm I didn't list mustard? I usually use powder mustard in my rub. I think that was a basic recipe. I don't remember which one it was. I'll have to look. LOL

Yep Powdered mustard I knew it was there someplace. I use that stuff by the gallon (okay half gallon)!
