i just noticed i got me some rep power!!! i don't know how i got it,or really what it means, but i'm dang proud to have it. if i need to thank someone how would i do it?.....dang with power comes so many questions???
Yes it does, but you also get some off people giving you rep points. Check your USER CP up in the header. To give rep points, select the little weight scale to the top right side of the post boxes of the poster you want to give points to.
so i have no one to thank but me??!!! lol well alrighty then..first i would like to thank ME!! and then of course there's ME!!! lol thanks walking that explained that. crap i was hoping i did something good and was rewarded!! oh well
the green tiles, "JOE" as you well know, come from atta boy points......the scales flash talked about.......when someone posts a great idea, or answers your question, that really helps you out, you give them attaboy points........the more "atta boy's" you get, the more green tiles you get....
Flash........thru trial and error and this........i have found, the more tiles you have, the more "POWER" your atta boy's are worth........someone with just one or two tiles, only gives a few points, but someone with alot of tiles, it gives more "power"..........like what rich said...........you get up there with tiles, you can only give out atta boys once a day...........
Rep should be tied to quality, and peoples acknowledgement of superiour posts.
If this board just weighs is on post count, then some post whore can come in and blabber on all day about nothing, not contribute nothing, and seem like a good bloke and creative genius at the end of the day.
Reputation is earned, with or without a silly number or green box that don't mean squat in the real world.
