Damper on the smoking...

Wettest Oct on record for us has 'Dampened' my spirits and my smokes...

Seams like everytime I try to get one going we end up washed out...

I'm gona forget how if this keeps up!!!

Been lucky so far in Boise. It's rained a few times during a smoke, but fortunately, i am situated directly underneath a 80' silver maple. So i dont get to much rain that makes its way through....

Today the weatherman said passing showers about noon, it is now 6:30 and they are still PASSING...

Only job I know of where you can be WRONG all the time and still have a Job...

I hear ya. It's been the coldest and rainiest Oct on record here. I've still managed to get a smoke a week in, some how.

Well here is the problem. My Lang is under the attached car port while the car sets out. I told my wife first things first and I was the king of my house. 3 days later my eye opened back up just a bit. LOL

I too have stood in the rain many times here in Fla. But I'm one of the lucky ones for I'm a builder and I now have a nice rain proof place to smoke and grill my magic.

Plus, I'm NOT gona buy my meat and let it sit... Told the wife today, "Hey, pick up anything to smoke, (as she was headed out the door to the store) ... she yells back, "it's raining now!!!"

I love your set up Mark!! We have had some very nice weather here in Jacksonville lately. Lets hope it holds up for this coming weekend! Gators and Dawgs getting it on.
