The mandatory hospital visit adds another layer of complexity. I know when using a lifesaving drug, shot discomfort should be of zero concern, but what was the experience of using them like? I would guess massive bruising and tissue damage based on the flow rate of the injection.
no, none of that. Injection site was not even noticeable.

it is newer. My Dr. told me to stay with the epi pen, I think because it was new to the market.
Promising nonetheless! As far as I'm concerned, the epi-pen's biggest shortcoming is the storage requirement. I'd like to keep them on the glovebox, workshop, etc., but they degrade so fast in heat and fluctuating temps.

Just got whacked by a wasp 2 seconds ago. Just jabbed myself with the Epi,still got the second one but I'm calling in a scrip immediately.

Damn, hate to hear it! Good luck! Glad you were well prepared!

I also take a benadryl when I do the pen.....probably too late now, you are either better or dead now...lol. I hope you recovered.

Just had to hit myself a second time. My mid section started breaking out in hives even though I was stung in the right ankle. Fun typing this with the shakes!

go to the ER??
Not yet but everything is pretty much going away. Being this close to Fall River there's two ERs I can go to but on a Saturday you're asking for a monumental wait, much easier to just 911 it and skip the line.

Glad it seems to be going away, scary event!

The only thing that's still bothering me is the itching in the sting area but after last years incident I was prescribed a couple of tubes of Betamethasone Dipropionate cream which I have a full tube and then some. Gonna put some of that s**t on the sting area right now!
