Custom smoker worth the money?

I found a custom smoker for sale online. Smoker was posted for $2,200 and offered him $1,500. He said the lowest he can go is $1,800. Just trying to get some advice from some seasoned vets to see if you think it's worth the money. This will be the first quality smoker purchase for me. Thanks.
 
It has some design problems...    Exhaust stack is too small diameter....   the opening between the Fire Box and Cook Chamber appears to be too small...  that is evident from the leakage around the door on the Fire Box....   I can't see what openings are on the FB for temp and smoke control...

Be prepared for several modifications to make the smoker work "properly"...   

1...   Changing the exhaust

2...   Raising up the Fire Box to get better air flow in the smoker...

3...   Maybe adding proper air inlets to the FB...

Does it have proper tuning plates in the Cook Chamber...
 
Thanks for the feedback. For the price, seems like too many mods. Looking into a different one around the same price.
