I have 10lbs.13ozs. of pork and beef but the diggingdog calculator says 11.47 grams of cure #1 , can I put 12 grams in if so how much kosher salt?

So I can add 12 grams of cure and 78 grams of kosher salt is that right?You can, but why?
for salt I would do 78 grams (1.6%) myself, but everyone is different
Thank you very much!salt is the sausage makers choice, thats 1.6% I gave ya, some go 2% or more. 12g of cure #1 will work, but you should try to keep it under the max allowed.
