Did about 6 hours of yard work, boy it’s hot out there. Trimmed trees, bushes, the grass, fixed a broken sprinkler head, and moved the garden containers around a bit. Everything is doing great except one tomato plant. Looks like curly leaf got it somehow. Peppers are growing, tomatoes are getting bigger. I’m going to have way too many tomatillos than I know what to do with.

Nice! We had a really cold spring, so my shoshito peppers are just starting to grow fruit.

I used to do that container garden but having to water every day got old. Guess I got I got old to!
My gf works from home, so her morning routine includes watering them in the morning. It’s been so hot I’ve got to water again in the evening. We both enjoy it though.

That is pretty much my routine too.
I take advantage of the cooler morning time to water and check the plants for bugs etc.
My wife and I missed the planting window for veggies this year.
But we did have a few of last season's volunteer marigolds and busy lizzies in the patio
flowerpots pop up. So we feel obligated to take care of them now.
One thing we use in patio flower pots are those glass watering bulbs that help out during the hottest part of the day. We refill them each morning.
But looking at your set up, the glass bulbs wouldn't be cost effective.
