consistant heat in eletric smoker

i have a plane  electric smoker.  i find it hard to keep the temp at 225 is there a digital thermometer that controls the heating element?

the heating element came with the smoker it has a dial going from low to high which makes it hard for getting the temp right every time i use it.  as for price can u give me some choices to choose from,  i would like to have a easy install and easy use.
