Congrats, and that was a good choice. Being that you live in Oregon, and think you made the best choice possible. The P&S is a great choice also, but the grilling is a little better on the Mak, and it’s materials that it is made from are very weather resistant.

I bought my first Pellet grill recently a RT-700, I had the same problem as you deciding which to pick. RT was the best for me due to import cost, I had to ship it to Costa Rica (where I live) and it cost me as much as the grill to do it. Pellets are going to be a bit hard to get because I dont have access to common woods like US people, but I have found a company that manufactures Coffee Wood pellets.

If you can afford a MAK, you will never have buyer's regret (except maybe you'll wish you'd saved up for the 2 Star). It will give you years and years of flawless service.
