Collagen Casings?

what o you guys think about stuffing breakfast sausage into collagen casings? the sheep casings are dang expensive and hard to manage. Have any of you used collagen for this?
 
I think they suck!
Except for snack sticks!

I stuff breakfast sausage in sheep casings or hog casings, but only make the hog casing links about 3 inches long....nice and plump and juicy!

they work fine for breakfast sausage. I like the sheep casing and the wife like the  collagen casing .
 
Ron, you could use the collagen casings for breakfast sausage. I used sheep for mine and they are a PITA to work with when you have big hands. Next time I'm thinking about using collagen myself.
