Cold is good!

I got an IPad, and my kids can do more on it than me!

Ask an 8 year old to teach you!

Safe travels Nepas, especially with that cold, white, frozen stuff on the ground. Wanna figure out the iPad? Ask my teenage daughter...or my ex-wife. Apparently they both know everything about everything.

The iPad will work for browsing and basic replies ( on mine now), but you will need Tap Talk to upload pictures. I have not played with the app much, but others use and like it. I have not tried to use a web site like Photobucket for my pictures, so not sure how that will work. If you go to add links it can be a bit tricky, some times down right a pain. You can have several tabs open and can go between them, but if you started to type a reply and change tabs to copy the link, then go back to the reply, sometimes everything you typed is lost. I think that is an iPad issue, because on my PC I can switch between tabs and no issue with SMF or my PC......

Overall I like it, but just some user and interface glitches to work through....

Thanks everyone. I do have tapatalk2

Looks like we will need some sort of adaptors also.

Rick you know the longer you stay down here in Georgia, the odder and colder that white stuff will seem when you go back north.

Have a safe trip and good luck with that Apple.  We had a LISA back in the day at work and I'm a die hard PC fan.  Just never got into the Apple thing, but I may have to give a tablet a try one day (as soon as I figure out all the stuff I can do on the Droid I have at work).

Thanks everyone.

Im back at the park now. Was sad to leave my good friends but they have to take care of their family with the grieving process now.

Oh wow.  Rick I totally missed a post that you were up there for a funeral.  Sorry to hear that, but glad you made it home safe.
