I went looking for the cooking plate for my Cobb so I could make a fattie. I like the Cobb because I can fire it up with 6-8 briquettes and have a fattie in about an hour and a half.

I couldn't find the teflon plate that the food rests on. After scouring the house from top to bottom I finally asked My little parsnip flower if she had seen it. No she didn't think so what did it look like. After I described it to her she got this look. I said What?? She said I think I sold it in the yard sale for 50 cents.

Good grief My favorite smoker out of action for 50 cents. I sure hope I can get a replacement plate or my poor little cobb is History.

The Wife.............. Well She's not for sale but let me tell you it was a very close decision.

That's terrible, I really hope you can get a replacement for it. Did the wife at least feel bad about selling it for .50?

To quote myself from the now Famous Wife For Sale Thread.

How could she sell your favorite smoking plates for. You might have to think hard on the for sale signs on the front lawn. I know send her out to find some new ones. Better yet now you should have free reign to go out and buy some new stuff and tell he it's to replace the next grill she sells.

I can't find the stock part on their website but I did find their new grill for $39.00. that will work.

I'm going to tell the wife its going to cost $99.00 to fix it.

That should double the guilt factor. Unless she finds out the truth, in which case they will bury me next thursday.
