Clothes line Tri Tip!

Yep that's right, the smokes so thick in the air and the temps hot enough that one could clip a tri tip to the clothes line and smoke er up! It'd take a bit more time than I wanted it too so I fired up the Mini.

Cherry, Pecan, Kingsford Blue. Ran the smoker at 240*. Smoked the tip to 130*. Resting in foil as I type.





Smoke away!!!

You all gettin that Washington fire smoke too Case ? That dang smoke is so thick here it's just damned miserable ! Hope it clears up soon for all affected.... Thumbs Up

I tried and post pictures but SMF wouldn't let me. Guess I've blown the system....

All of these fire are lightning caused. We had over 7,000 strikes last week!

All the smoke we have is from the fires here in Oregon. Seems like the whole Eastern part of the state is on fire!

More than likely not arson.  We've had a bit of lightening up in the mountains over the last week or so.
