Cleaning a smoker

I take the racks off and throw them on my grill on high for 10-15 minutes.  The walls, never touched them.  I do turn the heat to 275* for an hour or so to "kinda" clean it out.  The water pan and drip pan I cover with foil so after the smoke, I just throw it away.

I'm sure smarter people will give you some more and better ways to clean it.
