Claremore, OK - Boots and BBQ

Just wondering if anyone is competing at the Boots and BBQ Festival in Claremore, Oklahoma next weekend? I am not, but I am planning to go to see how these events are run, and to try some good Q.

BBQ is on Saturday... taster kits and KCBS judging 11a-3p.

Looks like they have all kinds of other things going on... carnival rides, casino, live horse racing (this is at Will Rogers Downs), and finishing up on Saturday with the Preakness telecast.

Well, maybe no competitors... anyone planning to attend?

I know SmokyOkie is competing there. I would have been there with him except for a graduation party that is mandatory to attend the same date.
Okie is a Backwoods Smoker dealer now, look for him to be smoking some fine que in a Backwoods. And an SDS Drum Smoker. And a Hasty Bake or two.

Sorry folks... my original post said BBQ on Sunday, but it should actually say Saturday (it does now). I thought that seemed a bit funny.

Also saw a flier that said "Boots and BBQ - Hwy. 20 West of Claremore." For those of you that know the area, how stupid is that? Oh well, hope to see some of you there.
