Well the house sold in just 20.5 hours from going live on the MLS. Pretty crazy, just have the inspection on Tuesday and then the well tests and septic pump and inspection and we should be in the clear....

Also went to look at lots with the wife over the weekend with our realtor and just for kicks he talked us into looking at a few homes prior.....so we obliged to be nice.....well crazy thing one spoke to both me and my wife....the full shop with 220 was like oh man....the separate from the shop sparkling clean epoxy floor garage spoke to the wife....the rest of the house was nice too LOL.....so we put an offer on it and are just waiting to hear if they accept....tomorrow at noon. If they do we will do a digital simultaneous closing....so we move out on a Thursday and start moving in the new place on Friday in mid July....

the thought of not having access to the X-Fire and Copper Pot or to not be able to make knifes for 4-6 months was killing me and the boy so hopefully we are only out for a few weeks!!!!!

Sounds Great, Civil !!! Dream Home???
I hate moving!!
LOL---We moved so many times, after I got out of the Army that Mrs Bear went to school & got her Realtor's License---Saved a lot of Commissions that way!!!

Thanks Bear! Once we add a gas range to the kitchen it will be as close to dream house as we can get.....I hold the same feeling of hating moving for sure, this will be the 18th in 26 years! I’m ready to NOT do it again!

But in the end, every move had a purpose! I think getting licensed would have been the ticket item for sure!

PS offer accepted so just the paper game now!

Thanks Ryan!

Bingo!!! That pic is awesome! Now it just practice!

So the next task is taking q-view pics...similar principal....no to very little natural light but low light yellow light. Sun light or natural light kills the color of the “q”. You can stand back and zoom in to avoid the shadow. Furthermore, using a white plate will accent the “q” and enhance the colors.

Well today was the big fund and record on the old house! So just one week to the closing on the new house......the temp home is a riverside RV park about 2 miles from the new house.....

The loading up was NOT un-eventful as the movers almost purchased the X-Fire cause they didn’t take my advice to use a fork lift....they cabled it up the loading ramp and it almost tumbled off when the ramp started to fail. Fortunately, one of the movers saved the day by grabbing one of my old air tanks and shoved it under the ramp and stopped the settlement and tipping....they were freaked cause I marked it as a high $$$ item so the payoff would have “hurt”. The moving coordinator was mortified and apologized gratuitously....and said a fork lift will be waiting at the new house to take it off the truck.....

So now we just wait and watch the sellers of our new home frantically pack up and move out just like we did this week......I feel for them!!

PS it was good my son wasn’t home watching cause I think he would have freeeeeeeeeaaaaaaked!!!!! He is like 6’-4” and 210 now so him freaking out on the movers would NOT have been good!

Yes Bear moving = PITA!!!!

I just said I wasn’t kidding about needing a forklift.......but hey what do I know I’m only an engineer........

Finally the big day for the X-Fire move.....or should I say how to meet your new neighbors.....

first you park a monster moving truck on the street......then the tow truck guy drives on the manicured neighbor’s lawn while blocking the entire street into the whole neighborhood at lunch time.

next you start the slow crawl out the truck like a reality show big reveal......people looking intensely wondering what on earth is coming out of that truck.....

The tow truck guy and mover almost wet their pants when it dropped off the moving truck deck and onto the tow truck deck and the whole deck dropped 4 inches....just notice the angle difference. The deck sliding and popping on the moving truck side sounded like a rifle going off....now any of the neighborhood that wasn’t watching is now about to call 911.....

Bingo off and stable......

What on earth is that was asked many times.....along other statements like holy .... when’s dinner!

And after all the excitement it ends in relative ease with and simple expressions of glad that is over with.....

Now the next challenge is to be able to actually get the garage unpacked so we can open the X-Fire doors again!!!
