hey all,

jeff's recipe for chuck burnt ends looks amazing.  Curious if anyone has done on a PBC, and if so, any learnings on approx time for getting to 190 temp?

Thanks!

Dude...that recipe looked awesome!  I'm totally doing this for my next smoke!

Not sure what a PBC is, but I have a 4# chuckie on now, thinking I'll try the burnt ends.
I put it in the offset at 10:15 with temps running 250 to 280 and IT is at 142 @ 12:45.

sorry, PBC = Pit barrel cooker.  Been on about 1:45 so far at 240, temp up to 160 so far.  Looks and smells great.  Will update as it goes.

Where is this recipe you speak of?  My wife has a chuck roast and wants me to do burnt ends.  Is this something I can do for dinner tonight or is it gonna be an all day or overnight smoke?  Just curious.  I've never done them this way.
